ALADDINNAs if he possessed the lamp of his namesake, Aladdinn has brought magic to breeding programs and show rings across the country and, in some instances, around the world. Only two other sires have shaped the breed as much in modern times as Aladdinn. Furthermore, he claims records even the immortal Bask and Khemosabi cannot touch.
Aladdinn is the only stallion to win a European championship then, Swedish National Championship Stallion and then go on to be named National Champion Stallion. He was also the 1979 Scottsdale Champion Stallion.
Aladdinn proved himself to be prepotent in the breeding barn by siring four sons who also took the very same US National Champion Title. Few stallions have ever accomplished this feat.
Aladdinn was foaled on February 13, 1975 on the Swedish farm. After winning the national title there in 1978 at the age of 3, he was exported to this country in 1978. Gene LaCroix, the same person who imported Bask, brought Aladdinn to this country.
Upon examination of Aladdinn’s Polish bloodlines, it is easy to see why America had High hopes for the Aladdinn.
Aladdinn’s sire, the bay Nureddin, shared the same sire as the immortal Bask: Witraz by Ofir. Witraz also sired Bandola, dam of three national halter winners; Caliope, dam of seven champions; Arfa, dam of US and Canadian National Champion Mare Arwistawa; Celebes, sore of six Polish National Champion and more.
Aladdinn’s dam, the gray Lalage, had three American champions: Aladdinn, Ea Amurath and Ali Mirra.
Aladdinn , Khemosabi and Bask, alone, share the honor of having more than 1,000 registered purebred foals. Of his offspring, 63 are national winners and 267 are show champions. Aladdinn follows only Khemosabi and Bey Shah as the leading living sire of champions.
Kakhem Sahib+//, our Khemosabi son, is out of the Aladdinn daughter, Alli-Rhaki. He carries on the prepotent genetics of athleticism, heart, beauty and ability.
